Getting ready for the health self assessment
framework - family/carers meetings
Each year we have to say how good our health services are at
giving a service to people with a learning disability and their
families
These meetings will give you the chance to speak to Peter
Soothill, the commissioning manager for learning disabilities, to
share your views about the health services in Blackburn with
Darwen.
Peter is keen to listen to your suggestions and ideas
about how to make improvements to services locally. He would
also like to hear about any good practice that is happening so we
can continue to support people with learning disabilities
positively.
Please contact the Carers Centre on (01254) 688440 to book your
place and have your say.
We can pay your public transport expenses when you get to the
meeting if you keep your receipts.
The meetings will take place on:
- Friday 23rd July 1-3pm and/or
- Thursday 12th August 10-12pm and/or
- Thursday 19th August 6-8pm
